Cell phone mount
Any recommendations on generic mounting solutions to attach cellphone to handlebars? I have a TMobile MyTouch that I would like to use as my cycling computer so I don't have to have a big ugly wireless sending unit attached to my fork all the time. I do realize that a big ugly cellphone is worse, but only when in use.

I've posted about this before with photos. Buy the MyTouch hard case that T-Mobile sells, a Timex handlebar mount, a velcro strap, and some industrial strength stick-on velcro pieces. Cut two slots in the back of the case, run the strap through, apply a piece of velcro to the back of the phone, then assemble phone in case. Apply velcro to the back of the case, then staple a piece to the rubber handlebar mount. Make sure the strap is long enough to wrap around stem and then fasten to the upper part of the case with a small piece of velcro.

I would second Ram Mounts. I don't use one for my smartphone, but I do use their mount for my VIO POV camera.

SierraBob- I wish I would have thought of that. You solved a big problem for me. Do you have any suggestions on where to put extra phone batteries or how to recharge them while riding?
