@10 Wheels: Nice yellow rain jacket.
I am a fan of high visibility clothing. I feel my day-glow vest (with reflective stripes) contrasts so much with dull urban spaces that my vest calls equal attention to me as my tail light during the day. (At night, it all depends on angles of light reflection.)
@seeker333 Good pointer to Alert Shirt. Thanks.

However, they don't breathe well at all IMO. I clipped the cuffs off my long sleeves in an effort to get air up the arms, and vent shirt better.
I chose long sleeves for UV protection - shirts are cheaper than sunblock. I wear LS shirts year round, even when it's 100F. In fact, I add a short sleeve on top of the long sleeve for additional UV protection of my back when it's really hot.
IIRC I bought some of these: https://alertshirt.com/poloslmtanco.html

I have a planet bike superflash turbo https://ecom1.planetbike.com/3070.html, it is super bright if you look directly into it, its not as bright as what you would get with some more expensive lights but it does the job, add some high-vis clothing and you should be about a visible as you can get. I once had a car pull out in front of me and i could see my headlight strobing in the interior of his car, problem is he never looked left as he was turning. I saw him several hundred feet back and slowed down knowing that he could pull out.

I have generator lights on two of my bikes (One Shimano, one Schmidt), but I don't know of any generator powered tail light with a flashing mode, and I don't know of any generator powered tail light which is bright enough to catch attention in daylight. The Dinotte tail light will get your attention in the middle of the day - it is in a whole other league.
