I am wondering if anyone here can help me.

I currently have hub dynamo connected to a garmin edge 605 (through a B&M e-werk). This seems to always put the computer into standby/charging mode. Is there a way to tweak the current/voltage so that it can run whilst be charged? Otherwise, it seems I have wasted my money, as a gps system off whiltst cycling is pretty useless.
