Thank you for the link. I have their pumps (Road Drive & Floor Classic) and they are the best I've ever had. I really hope that their lights are up to that level so we have something better than Cateye/Planet Bike plastic overpriced trash...

I have a number of Planet Bike lights and think they're pretty good values. I also have Lezyne pumps and combo tools, which are nice, but not earth shattering. e.g. The Topeak Race Rocket is a better pump than the Lezyne Road Drive IMO. I have and use both.

I will say, $110 for a 450 lumen rechargeable light sounds like a great deal.

I would like something battery powered with road-suitable optics. These look symmetrical

Have you looked at the Phillips? Only problem is that it is not sold here so you would have to order from overseas. Also, the IQ CYO's instructions mention hooking the light up to a rechargeable battery. You could do that.

I was wondering about the light beam. From the article, "Lezyne says the use of the high-end LEDs combined with their “engineered design” mirror polish parabolic reflector and front lens provide category leading brightness and beam pattern." Hopefully this means a better road beam. I can wait until it is in the market.
