Bright Tail Light: Flashlight: Olight M20 Crimson

Has anyone used such a light as the Olight M20 Crimson for a tail light?

Would this be too bright, or still reasonable?

It puts out around 100 lumens.

I use this and am very happy with it:

I get well over an hour's runtime per charge. In fact, I've never had it go out on me. It may dim but I haven't noticed. I recharge it about every third ride.

Olight's strobe mode would be a ~12Hz assault strobe, specifically designed to disorient the target. I used to have one of their M20 Warriors, it's not the right flash pattern for aiming at motorists. So the lack of strobe on that flashlight isn't necessarily a drawback.

I have one of the ones like sknhgy has. If you do want a super-focused red steady light, grab some protected 18650s and a charger, and there's your light. Personally I think it's more powerful than necessary for nighttime use. Daytime on a highway, or in dense fog...? Perfect
