What was it in those shots and what was it when you angled it up more? My beam is eliptical too and I find a 50 ft reach more than enough under most circumstances. If I need more than that I have more lights anyway.

Nice! Thanks for the post! The effective amount of blacktop that gets lit up is more what I was interested in. How far away was that FIRST yellow sign?

Thought I'd add a link here for a couple reasons. (1) Apparently some othercpeople like this light too (2) Its different and apparently much better than the dyno version. https://sweetbike.org/2012/06/08/of-d...ghts?wpmp_tp=6
I'm actually a little disappointed cause I was really looking for an excuse to buy a dyno!
