IPhone 5 mount

I'm looking for some help with choosing the right iphone 5 mount for my Giant Roam bike. I like the LifeProof one but it mounts to the bar while I believe the phone/gps belongs to the stem.
What are you guys using for your iphone 5 and does it mount to the stem and can you leave your iphone case on the phone while mounting it?

I think the Quad Lock is the best.

Thanks guys!

Are you also using the Quad Lock case as your phone case or do you need to take the phone in and out each time? What I like about the LifeProof is that it snaps on top of your existing case (if you're using one).

I take mine out of the Quad Lock case only because I don't normally use a case. In addition, with the case on my car charger won't fit for some reason. But I really like the way it mounts on my bike....very secure and easy to get off.

I use the quad lock as well and I'm very happy with it.

I put this one on my wife's bike and she likes it, it holds her I phone 5 that is in an Otterbox Commuter very tight:

+1 from me too. I have quadlocks on all my bikes. Outstanding product.

What I've done too is order the iBattz Mojo Refuel battery case for the iPhone 5 that allows you to change the external battery. They have an option to turn it into an armored case like the Otterbox cases. I took that, put the quadlock piece on the back of that and use that for my riding. With that, I have hours of ride time and if I carry another battery, probably an additional 5 hours.

Lifeproof mount is bigger and bulkier around the phone plus you can't attach an extra battery anyway.

I'm using the Topeak drybag and while it works great at protecting the phone from getting wet. It is sometimes hard to see the screen and if I receive a call I can't hear a thing and the phone gets really hot inside the case.

End up buying this: https://deltacycle.com/smartphone-caddy-ii. When my bike shop told me that's all they got for me for iPhone 5 I laughed and walked away from it. Because I badly needed something I came back the next day and bought it (it was only $15) with the idea that I'll continue searching for a better product.
2 month later... I love it and I have no interest in any other phone mount/holder. It holds the phone pretty well, it's easy to put the phone in and take it out and I have access to all my buttons.
