This review was the final straw for me. Just picked up one tonight.

I've been on Maui for a week now and have been using my SJ1000. I can't believe the video quality for the price. I took it up Haleakala today helmet mounted, and while I didn't make it to the top of the volcano, it took some great downhill video. My son used it underwater yesterday (he didn't do a good job of keeping it pointed), and I also used it to record parts of my trip to Hana, both handheld and windshield mounted in the car. You really can't complain about a camera that does all this for $85. I'll post some video of the trip down soon.
