I am currently installing a great piece of dynamo. I do not have a chosen headlight yet. Most of the lights that I find online are battery powered.

Are there any wired headlights with warm-white lights, 800 lumens and beam cutoffs?
Optional: headlight package that includes 2 separated headlights.

Not aware of any separated lights. Either B&M Luxos U or Supernova E3 Pro 2 should satisfy the numbers obsession.

The upgraded IQ Cyo is as good as most people ever need, at half the price.

I've bought a few B&M lights and a Philips light recently. They have all been excellent. I recommend B&M.

These lights are rated in Lux rather than lumens, making it impossible to compare. Their output is surprisingly weak, but the lights are extremely effective because the optics are so genius. It puts the light where you need it and not where you don't need it. It also casts the highest power far ahead, so the road looks to be painted with light.

I have the IQ Premium Cyo light from that page and it really is good. While all the battery high-powered lights through out a huge beam, very little actually hits the road. With this light almost all of the light hits the road. When I first put it on the bike I kept my battery light on the bars, but took it off after a few rides as I realized how redundant it was. With the two lights on I couldn't detect any light coming from the battery light, it was all washed out by the B&M light.

This comes at a price though. For $110, now $121, it isn't cheap. And if you add in the dynamo wheel it is even more. I spent the money and feel it was a worthwhile upgrade but I'm not sure everyone else would.

The best cost-effective headlight is the Cyo Premium, $110.

If you're willing to spend a lot more for a little better color temperature and 10% more light output, the Schmidt Edelux II has the exact same beam pattern for $190, and a little nicer color temperature from it's LED.

They both have a distinct beam cutoff. (The supernova lights mostly do not).

It is possible to hook up 2 LED Headlghts , in parallel I think, but they have gotten bright enough to not really make that necessary.

I have 2 Halogen E6 Schmidt headlights they were made to be run in series the one has an on and pass thru wired switch , the other on & off

never was descending in the dark fast enough to need both.. LEDs tend not to be warm like halogen bulbs, but blue-white


the top of the range offers a USB plug to re charge the phone when the light is off.

That's the one generally available in the US and what I have. There is a German version with a reflector built in but that is only required in Germany and seems unnecessary to me.
