Did you realize this is a zombie thread? Last post above yours is October 2014, six and a half years ago. The original poster has not logged in for more than 3 years so probably will not see your reply. If you have valuable information you really want people to read, create a new post so current readers don't wade through outdated posts to get to yours.
I like using a standard CREE XML-T6 flashlight using the Panasonic 18650 battery as my after-dark front light. Don't give a rats ass about CRI as I live in a well lit suburban area and just want to be seen by drivers. Output of my flashlight is about 950 lumens. Cheap, durable, easy to switch batteries. That's all I care about.
