That's your call, I just listed all the just I found useful. It's been great for me, don't think you're interested - that's cool. It's...1 wire from the hub to the top of the fork and everything else enclosed in the hub, keeping your handlebars uncluttered from having a light on them. But batteries provide the same kind of light. Absolutely no need to go that way if it doesn't interest you.

It's just to much work on a forum to ask 3-4 questions to try to find out. It's easier to type it out, then let you decide if it interests you or not.

My preference is dynamo lighting, but dynamo lighting isn't for everybody, most people should start out by spending $30 on a magicshine clone first.

I like the way you talk. I actually have the helmet mount and I feel as though these two lights together would be about as ideal a set up as I could imagine.

Probably going to fire on it tomorrow.

Works for me. When I'm riding and i need to make a turn, the bar light is still aimed straight. With the helmet light, I have visibility into the turn and it doesn't seem like I'm riding in a dark tunnel so much anymore. Then I really like the additive bright beam when going straight.

I've always liked that Diablo helmet mount. Seems like a really nice design.

A lot of strong opinions here. I say each to his own God, and there is no such thing as too much light on a bike. I would rather them say "Did the sun just come up?" instead of "I never saw him, he came out of the dark." JMHO

Raising Lumen count oneupsmanship is like a Pissing match . I dont play that, but suit yourself.

When an oncoming driver, temporarily blinded, drives over you . that is too Bright. Feeling Lucky?

24 hours enduro Mountain Bike Racing on a closed course , is a different thing entirely .

Then go for 4000-5000 lumens. You'll be fine.

If you're serious you can click the "!" triangle under your avatar in your original post to bring it to the mods' attention and request a thread lock.
