Battery for Digital Camera
I have an old Nikon Digital camera that uses their model: EN-El 12 which is rated as 3.7 volts 1050 mAh, 3.9 watt hours. Who might make the best replacement for this?

Ok, I went on that Amazon link. The picture shows the battery and its different than my original. It doesn't show the 3.9 watt hours and it doesn't show the 4 Alpha characters under the holograph.
Makes me wonder if its really a Nikon branded battery. I would imagine that Nikon does not make batteries but instead gets someone else to do it. That would be fine as long as a consumer knows it is equal to or better than the Nikon original.

I wouldn't worry about getting a "genuine Nikon battery"
I've owned over a dozen cameras and many more other devices, phones, GPSs, etc that took addon batteries over the years. I have NEVER ONCE bought an OEM battery for them, I just buy 2 for $9 cheapies off eBay and I've never had any trouble at all. In some cases the knockoff batteries have outlasted the OEM battery that the camera came with.
Sometimes they're as good, sometimes only 90% as good, but typically they're 20% the price and I don't usually care that much whether the battery in my digital camera lasts 5 weeks or 5 weeks and 3 days before charging.
