Bucket List Ride Day 2!
Today was the first section of the Blue Ridge Parkway from Waynesboro to Peaks of Otter. JimF surprised us by showing up and giving us great send off at the start. Today was 86 miles and 8200' of climbing. Gorgeous weather, along with more spectacular views. A couple of nice long descents along with the longest continuous climb on the BRP of 13 miles. My legs are feeling it! Tomorrow is 80 miles and 7500' of climbing. Hills, hills, hills.
