YUP, WINTER SUCKS.
Retired, prostate cancer blood work done at 7:00AM this morning and the chores are done so I'm hitting the couch for a snooze before heading out at 9:00PM under an almost full moon to begin my overnight 100+ miler before 6:00AM then back home for a shower or not, a bit to eat, a kit change or not, a bike change or not and back out for the LBS Saturday 8:00AM ride. Not sure how long I'll suck wheels since they'll be rolling at 22mph to 28mph but want to complete enough for 150 miles or a bit more. Haven't been on the bike for a week so it will be great having my butt hit the saddle again.
YUP, WINTER SUCKS.
Riding in nice weather in my cycling kit beats bundling up for some snow skiing anytime in my book.

About the nicest thing a northern cyclist can say about winter is that it ends just in time for longer days of cycling daylight.

I'm over it. I'm putting in a few miles here and there just to say I am. This week of 14deg weather is crazy and I'm not joining it.

To match this bike, I had one good icicle going on Sunday. Lisa took a pic when I got home:

That thing was really stuck on good too! It would just pull off, I had to get inside and let it warm up and melt off.

The last patch of dirty ice should be gone today, highs well into the 60s.
