50+ Jerseys and shorts order thread.

This is the order thread for the traditional 50+ kit items.
Champion System's CS10 custom design program is used again, a total of 10 items must be ordered for our group buy status under this program. Any 10 items from our list below, are the minimum requirement to get the prices here. Here is a link to the Champion System website for your reference: http://champ-sys.com/index.php

The order thread will remain open, but the deadline is November 26, 2017. After that date no further orders will be accepted and Paypal payments will be refunded immediately on notification to me. I will notify you that it arrived too late. Upon closing the orders I will place our order with Champion System, and payment to them will be made from my account, in full. I will keep everyone updated on the progress of our order here. Usually it is 3-4 weeks, but can stretch up to 6 weeks is they are busy. Please be patient with the order time frame.

The design, by Curtis Corlew (cccorlew), is representative of the 50+ Forum, not any specific age grouping. No changes to his design are allowed, this is a hard and fast rule, please do not post requests for other age numerals to be substituted on the kit items. This requires a new proof being designed, paid for and approved by Champion System. Curtis and I established that no changes to his design will be entertained or discussed here.

Paypal is only the method of payment used for this group buy, there is no cost to you for paying by using Paypal, and the fees are included in the price listed for each item. No checks or credit cards are accepted, I have no means to process credit cards. Paypal offers the option to use a credit card as your funding source for the specific payment, with a percentage added by them to your total.

All mailing is by USPS, Flat Rate envelope, the cost is included in the prices reflected. All orders outside of the USA will need to be individually priced to reflect actual mailing cost. Please PM me if you reside outside of the US and I will get the mailing cost for your approval and keep the cost as reasonable as possible.

Posting comments and general questions here is fine, but it will not place your order, the Paypal payment notification I receive will be the only official order

Payment and information instructions
All of the below must be included in the comment section of your payment, at Paypal

The Paypal account listing is [email protected] this is my personal verified account and has been continuously operational since 2000. Only payment in US dollar funds is acceptable.

50+ Order
Name-Mailing purposes only
Address-City, state, and zip code
Screen Name-the only name I will be posting in the order confirmation and verification posts
Items, tailoring cut and sizes-please check this carefully when entering this information.
All orders being mailed outside of the USA must contact me for pricing before placing your order, I will attempt to keep your mailing cost down as low as possible.

Any questions posted or sent to me by email will be addressed as quickly as possible, but my answers will be carefully answered for accuracy and completeness, by me, allow me a day or so please. I am on-line a good bit, and PMs or email gets checked frequently, no one will be ignored when they ask a question, other than changing the design in anyway. That will not receive a reply.

When your order is posted after I receive the Paypal receipt, please carefully review it. If i have anything incorrect contact me by PM or email quickly so that I can get things straight.

When your order arrives please check it for correctness of item(s) ordered, and sizing/tailoring. Should something be wrong with my end I will not charge you any mailing cost in either direction, and I will make every effort necessary to rectify any error I might make. It is a real possibility that things go to the wrong persons, I will facilitate things getting straightened out, on my dime. To date everyone had been taken care of and no one had to settle for less than their complete and correct order.

If you order the wrong size that is beyond my control, please visit the Champion System sizing chart link here:http://champ-sys.com/media/downloada...6_in_adult.jpg

This is a totally volunteer project for the benefit of the 50_+ Forum members, it is something Curtis and I do because it is nice to see pictures of those wearing the 50+ kit, and sometimes actually meeting someone with a jersey on. I consider it a privilege to be a part of this process, and to be a part of the 50+ Forum. Thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement.

Bill

The first order has been received, I’ll post every second day here with the details of each order. Please take a few minutes to review the order for errors and completeness. Thanks all!

Hmm, I turn 50 on November 25, 2017

What do the jerseys look like? I may have missed it somewhere since I'm getting old.

Hi Bill,

I just want to point out that this year my jersey size should be 'L' not 'XL'. I hope I specified that correctly in my order, but I may not have.

I did indeed wear an XL the last time we did this, but I've slimmed down some and I'm slowly replacing my oversized kit!

Thank you for all your work on this, it's greatly appreciated.

@winston63, my error, you did indicate a large this time. That is what is entered in the spreadsheet so you are good.

@Lazyass, Dan’s link was the one I would have posted for you. An early Happy Birthday also.

All jerseys will have full zippers, and the CS zippers are opposite handed from what you are used to. Works the same but the slide is on the left side as the jersey is on you.

Bill

Looks good except "full zip" should be in there somewhere. I already have a 50+ jersey in 3/4 zip so just want to make certain this one is full zip.

Thanks, [email protected]

Rick,
Please check the final paragraph in my last post here, all jerseys are going to be full zipper. No other zipper choice is being offered. I hope this answers that question for everyone, thanks for reviewing your order.

Dan, thanks for the B'day wish, I had to edit in order to get the orders updated. Monica makes some wonderful pecan pies, check with @Rowan and @Machka. They were gracious enough to stop by our home on my birthday, during their visit to the Pacific Canada, and down to the southeastern US in order to see some relatives in Louisiana. Homemade chicken soup, and pecan pie fresh from the oven, to celebrate both their visit and my birthday. Its my choice for all occasions!

The orders close on November 26, 2017, 12:00 AM CST, I am planning to send our order, and the total payment on November 27, 2017, by 12:00 PM. Once it is submitted it is expected to take 4-5 weeks, no Christmas delivery looks possible. But if it does arrive in time, I will pull out all stops to mail them as fast as possible. If some extra is needed for faster mail delivery I am planning to kick in and get it accomplished. No further cost to anyone will be assessed under any circumstances. Canadian orders will be on an "as-possible" status, should this happen.

No sweat Bill. My order is for a backup pair, and I'm using the full length kit this time of year anyway, so no rush.

Just a reminder, the order period is closing tomorrow night, I am placing the order with Champion System on Monday afternoon. If you manage to get the order and the PayPal by the time I place the order, I will include it. But I have no plans to extend the time period at this point.

Thanks to those that placed an order, your participation is very much appreciated.

Despite staring at the sizing chart and doubting there is any way in cyclingdom that I can get a fit, I'm going to try anyway. PP sent.

I believe that it will be fine D. The club cut is not overly snug to me. My jerseys have all been the club cut and XL. They all have been nicely fitted. I dislike the overly tight, sausage casing look.

If it helps out with anyone, I have worked it out to extend a day before sending in the order, the discount our order's pricing is based on runs through November 30, 2017. As long as I place it by then we will be good.

New Closing Date, 12:00 Noon, CST, Tuesday 28 November 2017.
