My left foot has been tender at the ball . Causing me to ride with the arch of my foot over the pedal axle. I put a set of inexpensive wide pedals on the mountain bike remodel I just finished, these seem to help. I just put Rockbros. Wide aluminum pedals on my Surly Long haul trucker and Cross Check to try. And a different brand I don't recall the brand of on my Surly Steamroller.

Took a Short ride today time doesn't allow me to go to one of the local trails that are 8+ miles. So I at least got 2.6 , riding helps my anxiety too. New pedals are easier on my feet for sure
