Sit bones milestones....
Gee's other thread about reaching 3000 miles got me wondering about a stat that I keep, but rarely look at. In viewing my own bikejournal.com, log I realized that yesterday I had accumulated over 100 hours in the saddle since May 13, 2006 when I began cycling seriously. I figure I've learned a few things about comfort and discomfort in that period! So far, with the Bianchi, I have about 324 miles and 24 hours in the Bianchi Velo saddle. The previous 1000+ miles and 76 hours were done mostly on the Specialized Sirrus and the Specialized Avatar saddle. So far I am much more comfortable in the new saddle. Just goes to show how different we all are and that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another.

So, does that mean you're buying us all a beer or not?
