Can't you use an Elvis 45? I like Patsy Cline. I can't bear to think of visualizing the initiation every time I listen to her.

If it were easy, we'd get too many youn'uns. The good thing is once you are past 50, the visualization thing fades pretty quickly.

Oh, the only suitable replacement would be Bob Wills & the Texas Playboys.

... hmm? lol I must say I am alittle scared now. The possiblilities and combinations that they can be used

haha anyway on a serious note

On thursday of last week I weighed myself and i was 210. It is now Wed and I am 202. The only thing I changed was that I started eating 3 times a day vs my 2 once being after 11pm. I stoped eating after 9 pm, and have been drinking anywhere from 32 to 98 oz of water.... I know that your only supose to lose about a pound a week. I was just curious?

How often do you get up to go at night? I too had unexplained weight loss of this sort. I didn't think that two to three times a night was abnormal. It is. Turns out that I am diabetic. If this kind of weight loss continues see your Doc.

I don't think it is anything serious, and I do sleep through the night. I think that most likely it is water weight. It just got me thinking. I haven't weighted myself in a while, and when I believe I was in the mid to high 190's. But defiantly if I hit lower than 194 by next week I will have a chat with my Doc. It is kind of interesting I started using FitDay when I bought my bike and it is saying that my 3 Week goal weight is 143 at the current rate of weight loss I wish. At 6 weeks I’ll be 21 lbs.

Nice work.

1.5 lbs per week average loss will have someone weighing 78 lbs less in one year!

In 3 years one would evaporate.

Starting 241.5 on June 30th, 2006

8/21/2006 Week 0 188
8/28/2006 Week 1 184 - down 4 lbs from week 0
9/04/2006 Week 2 183 - down 5 lbs from week 0
9/11/2006 Week 3 178.5 - down 9.5 lbs from week 0
9/18/2006 Week 4 177 - down 11 lbs from week 0
9/25/2006 Week 5 174 - down 14 lbs from week 0
10/2/2006 Week 6 170 - down 18 lbs from week 0

4 lbs this week, doc says doing good and expects I should lose 100% of my excess body weight! That would put me at an ideal weight of 134 lbs. GASP! NO WAY!!!!

Thanks, I've been trying for a long time to get below 200 with a final target somewhere between 185 and 195 - I'll know when I get there.
Most of us reporting are doing well or fess-ing up if not. That makes this thread so great.

Well - I am less than 3 years away from 50 BUT my hair is probably whiter than most of you (those who still have any) so I figure if I average in my hair with my age, I am well over the limit...

In the last 4 months I have dropped 20 lbs - but put back on 5 while I was visiting the USA - but since I got a cold AND problems from the water while there... I am almost back to where I am supposed to be. Not the nicest way to lose weight I can tell you.

This morning, 202.5

Goal - not sure 190 to 195 and then we will see.

It was another bad week for riding. Only managed 10 miles this week, because of work schedule, maintenance problems and mysterious flats on my front tire. I think the only reason I lost weight was due to lack of eating. Just didn't feel like it.

Week 0 (08/21/2006) - 254 lbs
Week 1 (08/28/2006) - 252.0 lbs (-2.0 lbs from week 0)
Week 2 (09/04/2006) - 254.0 lbs (back to square 1 )
Week 3 (09/12/2006) - 255.0 lbs (+1.0 from week 0)
Week 4 (09/18/2006) - 250.0 lbs (-4.0 from week 0)
Week 5 (09/25/2006) - 250.0 lbs ( No change).
Week 6 (10/02/2006) - 247.0 lbs (-3.0 from week 5).

My wife will be back on Sunday, and then I will be able to start my commute rides back up.

For those of you that pray, please put me on your prayer list.
