I think of these great threads to start but by the time I get home I can't remember what they were.

Well, at least you remember that you had a thought. Your half way to actually remembering what the thought was!

Leave yourself a phone message....often that's all that saves me from forgetting dentist's appointments, errands, make a phone call, etc. Sally Field (cycling interests unknown) said the older she gets the more lists of things to do she makes. Of course, I often make grocery lists and then leave them on the kitchen counter as I leave for the store. On the brighter side, at least you're still thinking of something.

Hmmm, short term memory loss. What could possibly cause that? I think that I have the same thing.

Incidentally, my wife and I and about 800 of our closest friends in your town last weekend for the Midwest Tandem Rally. We absolutely loved it but I can't recall why!

This topic just brought to mind... Putting this in light of Nermal's signature, maybe....

Some day we'll write down a great idea for the forums and plow into the back of a car.

Just saw what you need at Office Max today. Wrist bands that you write on to remind yourself. Didn't even say anything about 50+ on the package.

I use the memo feature on my phone all of the time. When I park at the airport I leave myself a message 'Hibiscus garage 4E'. I stay in so many hotels that I forget my room number some times as well.

Ditto.

Check your cell phone for a voice recording function. I use it a lot - someone gives me an email address, I spell it out on my phone recorder. Things I remember that I know in 10 seconds I will forget - etc.

Heck, I am still learning about things I can do with my phone. So far, I haven't discovered the "print money" function - but I know it must be there somewhere!

Yeah she's so forgetful she has to keep writing notes to remind herself "they like me, they really like me!".

Someday, someone will come out with a cell phone that does absolutely every function that can be imagined...and forget to include "telephone".
