Anyone care to join me?

I'm about to take a ride 'round and 'round Lake Murray, a local reservoir. It's only six miles around, so I'll take a few laps. It's 72 degrees, bright blue skies, not much wind.

Anyone care to join me?

Oh, and I'll spring for the coffee and pie afterwards. Forgot to mention that.

Would that I could...just got home from work, hitting the road myself.....be great to have company this evening-- especially somebody who says the pie's on him. Think of the conversation we could have!

Virtually there,
CC

Well, I've had to postpone Lake Murray until tomorrow. Clients called and insisted I spend time with them. Even sold 39 books, so I can't complain. I got a short ride in around the neighborhood, at least.

Not long enough to justify pie, however.

Sorry you missed the ride. It was fun!

Actually, I joined 5 members of my club for our weekly "be seen riding around town" ride where we ride all around downtown and nearby neighborhoods where lots of people can see us on the streets on bicycles.

Well, I can't do that, but how about I ride over the Murray Lock and Dam via the Big Dam Bridge and you just send me the pie.

I'm sitting here at the computer. Outside it's 55 degrees and raining. Yesterday I did a mountain bike ride around Lake Chabot so that I wouldn't have to feel guilty today about not riding.

Anyone want to join me for coffee and donuts and a self satisfied grin?
