I once did 43mph in 52/12 giving it everything I had (down a 10% hill) but my speed washed out pretty quick at the bottom.

First, I assume that all of the posters here have been truthfull and accurate about their sprinting speeds. Good for you guys. I am just happy when I can find 3 or 4 miles where I can sustain above 21 or 22 MPH and once in a while see a 27. Guess I am not a sprinter.
