Forgetting to charge the Garmin 305 and not having any ride information.

Three flats in two days-gotta get some new rim tape!!

I hope your riding weekend was better than mine!!!

The best riding information is the slight fatigue in the legs, the rattling cough for about an hour after a hard ride in the winter, the runny nose, the "Argh you stink!" from the wife and kids upon returning, the relaxed feeling in a hot shower while the fat layer around my stomach is still cold to the touch, and the refreshing taste of the first beer after the shower.

Nah, don't miss the computer, Garmin or not.....
Flats are just God's way of telling me to take a mid-ride break.

I guess if you mix the good and bad, the good would win. Sorry about your bad luck, but you know it will get better.

Three flats in two days just adds to the charm of February. Better times a-comin'.

While you were doing the RIGHT thing and actually riding, I spent a little time on my elliptical, looked at the new bike I bought a few weeks ago but haven't really been on yet, and ordered new tires for it online already.

Would rather have been riding.

I'm pathetic.

On the upside, you'll probably never forget to charge the Garmin again. Can't say the same for the flats.

After I've made the same mistake several times I usually don't repeat it, well for at least a week or so.
Remember, experience is what it's called when you recognize the same mistake you've made before.

All you needed was a headwind and rain to make the weekend.

Same problem after two flats all last year last year, I have had three since Jan. I found that my patch skills are not what they use to for one of them and I did buy some new Velox but nothing stops those #$@! little steel belted radial wires.

The highway shoulder I ride for a few miles on my usual route is full of debris, and along with the glass, it's those tire wires that flat me most often.

This time of year, I do more riding on a dam that is closed to vehicles, and the main tire hazard is the various stickers from the weeds on the side of the dam, but they never seem to cause me flats (it was probably bad karma saying that).

I might view not charging the Garmin as a mixed blessing. I rode both Sat & Sun in nice mid 40's temp, but gusty high winds. I have my computer working, but when viewing the results it might have been the perfect weekend to lose data!
