Well...I think it's because there is a decided lack of 50+ Californians that don't go to bed at 9pm. This place rolls up the freaking sidewalks early....I might be 52, but I am still a night owl.

What a bunch of wienies these married, non CA guys are, DeeGee. It's 11:45 here and only you and I are on the 50Plus forum. Game of cards, maybe? Probably not. I'm turnin' in, DG. Curl up next to my lab...she keeps me as warm as anybody else's wife. 'Course, their wives (I'm guessing) don't scratch fleas half the night. Or lick their toes. Deege, we gotta meet some real chicks! 'Night.

I am usually up until 1:30 - 2:00 AM Central Time.
And fresh at work at 9 AM.
There are lots of times when I quit posting here by midnight because it has slowed down, and I move to other things, or even watch a movie from midnight until 2 AM.

Give it up, Tom. DG is staring into his lava lamp and listening to the Eagles looping "Hotel California" while the musk incense wafts his beachfront flat over the surf shop .... and the moody boom of the endless surf echoes on a deserted beach of dreams. [You just can't do Southern California in Wisconsin--even at 2;00 AM. Prairie Home Companion maybe.

How about reading where it's sunny, 70 degrees outside somewhere and you're sitting in an area where it's raining and 40 degrees.........

Mark my words - someone's going to take this title
What's the worst thing about the 50+ forum?
seriously! And I bet my name comes up.
Oh well. compared to what we are fighting for here, politically, it really is minor!
BTW, where are all you folks in the early am when I am posting?

Too many words, not enough graphics or pics. The road / racing sub-forums have great stuff . The one exception is Digital Gee's constantly morphing avatar and head shape . Please no surgical pics !

....... being reminded that I'm 50+ !
I'm a southern CA night owl but I need AT LEAST 7-1/2 hours of sleep to function my best, so I have to turn in earlier than I'd like.

Perhaps not, but it does sound like the promising start of a Foo thread, doesn't it?

There will be no Foo threads started here. This is the home of serious dedicated bicycle posters who also happen to be 50+ and therefor so...so serious that Foo would knock them right out of their soft grey shoes.
