Toasties::: that is what we will all be in a couple of months if we don't use sunscreen...I have to use it or I get what I call 'sunspots'. The doc has another name for them. So any time I go bike riding in the heat I lather up with #30 or more. ... ... ... ... ... ... ...peace

Maybe that should be "spotted toasties":) You can always tell a cyclist from the tan lines.

Well I see it just fine and dandy. A picture of Peter Graves from his TV role on Mission Impossible, with a smoking reel to reel tape recorder to boot.

WillisB 05-24-07 04:55 AM

I can't see it either.

BluesDawg 05-24-07 05:06 AM

I see it. Perhaps the secretary has disavowed any knowledge of your actions.

WillisB 05-24-07 06:26 AM

Now I don't even see the red x.

BluesDawg 05-24-07 07:34 AM

Interesting. At home using Firefox, I saw it fine. At work using IE, it's just a red X.

Floyd 05-24-07 07:55 AM

That is just the veins crossing inside your eyes...they are projected onto the monitor. .... . ....peace

WillisB 05-24-07 08:19 AM

I just tried IE instead of Firefox. I can see the red X again.

What Redex. I thought that was something I put in the Cars fuel.

Digital Gee 05-24-07 10:29 AM

ReDex is a package delivery company. What can Red do for you? :D

I've already gotten sun poisoning on my arms this year!! Can't believe Donna didn't raise hell with me for it- she was unlucky enough to have had a malignant melonoma removed, but lucky enough that it hadn't spread, she's fine now. A cousin had to have part of her calf removed from a melonoma. Gotta remember that sunscreen of sunblock!!

I can see it. It's lemon meringue pie. With proper meringue. Why am I all of a sudden hungry? Nice Pie IF the crust is flaky and the lemon filling is homemade and tangy...

Two Freds checking out a Freida. My God, is that a kickstand on her bike?

Looks like Europe. If so, they build nice commuter bikes there.

Floyd 05-25-07 06:12 AM

I just swtiched over to Campagnolo integrated shifters, which, in turn, operate Shimano componants.

My question is, can I now comport myself out on the road as a Campagnolo snob???

Does that mean you are now Camp?

Floyd 06-02-07 08:30 AM

"comport myself"
?how does one 'comport'... Is this a new bicycle term of which I have not heard.
