I remember when I was a kid trying to get a wave like that in my hair. I consistently failed. Now it just looks stoopid.

But hey...white bike!

Well, if you had that wave, this is what your life would have been like, DG...

Hmm. See if you can shoehorn this into your bike. I think this invention will help you get up the hill faster.

Good idea except I'd have to carry the gas in my Camelback and I'm afraid that would be sooo Freddish

Temporarily had one on my Lightning P-38 but the weight to power ratio was not what I needed.

I have to admit it looks like fun but don't think I would ever try it.....I probably couldn't get from the standing position to the ground as he did

If you have a steam powered bike and ride in below freezing temps, will the steam freeze up?

Ginger Baker...

https://www.drummersrepublic.com/drum...eam-biography/

"As a teen, he trained and competed as a racing cyclist, developing strong leg muscles which later contributed to his skill on the double bass drums. Ginger had always planned on becoming a professional cyclist, until he bought his first drum kit at the age of 15. Baker was keenly interested in modern art and jazz, a rebellious beatnik with an eccentric appearance and artistic flair. Later, he would become interested in sculpture, painting, rally driving and polo. It was his wide range of interests which led Ginger to take up the trumpet in the local Air Training Corp band. Watching the drummer gave Ginger the idea of playing drums himself."

If the steam powered bike engine is not to your liking you can try this:

- A home made jet engine.
Now - if you read the story that goes along with it this Kiwi uses it to cool his Guinness

If you ever make it to Ireland, it is worth going thru the Guinness plant. I am not much of a beer drinker and I enjoyed it.

Except for the color scheme, this looks like a pretty nice bike for around town.

I think I would rather be caught with a hooker than riding that bike.

Ride with a couple of partners, and no one will notice the color of the bike!

Of course, the guy in the middle -- over the white part of the bike -- is a full-on Fred...bibs showing, etc!!!

I was just wonder ing if this thread was too old to resurrect... I may have responded a little, only a little negative, on the resurrection thread but that does not mean that I think all threads should die.
