I think it is a Moebius strip - it only seems to have one side to it!

Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end.

What goes up
must come down

Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carousell that's turning
Running rings around the moon

This is the post that never ends.

Talking about threads- I have just found a piece of cord on my shorts that when I pull it- it gets longer. Doesn't seem to have an end yet.

Tom Bombadil 04-09-07 10:15 AM

Stop pulling the cord/thread now!

Wait until you are out on a ride, say 30 miles from home, and then explore the length of the thread.

Anyway, that spinning wheel... That is what this thread is doing, kind of hypnotizing...

And there's even something cycling related... the lead-in to the afternoon show. :D

Those were the days!

Local TV, live from the City Dump. Cardboard sets and the best cartoons anywhere. And, no rehearsal - the gaffs between JP and Gertrude were real.

The top video on this page isn't his typical tricycle entrance, but he was on a swing bike...

And it goes along with the thread's theme too. :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I haven't laughed so much in ages.

P.S. What are we talking about?

The Weak Link 04-11-07 09:00 PM

The universe is unbounded but finite, as if you were a lonely molecule on a basketball. You will travel forever, never seeing anything twice in exactly the same way, yet your travels are limited by the universe presented to you in the form of a giant basketball. And your journey will never end.

Unless you get tired and bag the whole thing.

Riddle: What do this thread and the Seinfeld show have in common?

:)

maddmaxx 04-11-07 10:11 PM

We will not allow it to be syndicated on A&E!

If the world didn't suck........we would fall off.
