Some would say that this thread is off topic, OT. What is the most OT thread that you have EVER seen?

The only way it can be OT is if we started talking about bicycles.

Can't vote on that. But I'd like to offer the scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as one of the best bike scenes in movies.

Does the Klein hanging on a wall in Seinfeld's apartment count as bicycle scene? Or would that be a bicycle in a scene?

It's always been one of my favorites, too.

Here's the scene.

Highway to Hell (AC/DC)

Living easy, living free
Season ticket on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be
Taking everything in my stride
Don't need reason, don't need rhyme
Ain't nothing I would rather do
Going down, party time
My friends are gonna be there too

I'm on the highway to hell

No stop signs, speed limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me round
Hey Satan, payin' my dues
Playing in a rocking band
Hey Momma, look at me
I'm on my way to the promised land

I'm on the highway to hell
(Don't stop me)

And I'm going down, all the way down
I'm on the highway to hell

It's great product placement. Was there a single episode where it was actually ridden? Or was that a joke that he lived in New York, and drove everywhere by car just like an Angeleno.

There's also a Superman or reference to Superman in every episode, or so I'm told.

In the spirit of endless senselessness, and somewhat bike songs, plus jingles I wish I could forget, but haven't:

"You meet the nicest people on a Honda bike.
It's the worlds biggest seller and I know you'll like,
200 miles per gallon and a rugged trail machine,
and Honda prices start about two fifteen."

No, actually, I've never owned a Honda motorcycle. I do own a Honda car now, but
I doubt it was because of that jingle. Still, you never know . . .

I know I paid more than "two fifteen!"

How in the world did you manage to overlook Fat Bottomed Girls? Without any doubt whatsoever (meaning none, as in no doubt) the very best bicycle song ever. Even if bicycles are only mentioned in one line...

The thought crossed my mind...Other than a sticky, What IS the thread that has lasted the longest on the forums??? Just trying to keep on topic here... and keep the never ending thread going for the record... Is there a prize for having the longest thread?? or the question might be what kind of pie is the reward... ... ... ... ... ...

My Bad. The list wasn't meant to be exhaustive. But what a mistake especially considering I like the song, I like bicycles and I like big beautiful women.
