Sounds like a do-over to me. Do you really want to end the
year with a rescue ride in a pickup ?!?!

ok, ok so I'll ride it once again! The waitress is one of Irma's daughters and is verra nice! While I would have wished a bit of flirting, its hard to do when someone is telling you that you are crazy. I may look a bit more seriously into some snow tires as I must confess that the ride today was an interesting change of pace.
Mojo what have you got against Skipper?

This is only part of it - did you flirt with the waitress?

If you didn't flirt, it doesn't count.

I am also considering carbide (not steel) studded tires. The most helpful link and source of tires I've found is Peter White Cycles at LINK.

Also, visit the IceBike web site LINK for other winter bicycling information, including Moose Mitts (which look very promising).

We are a weird bunch and male-centric. My first thought too was did you flirt. If not it doesn't count! I think perhaps we don't really want photos either

Hey, ya got there and ya got your pie. So it counts. Too bad the flirting was a called third strike.

" At the beginning of 2007 one of my two goals was to ride to Irma's at least once every month of the year, eat pie, drink coffee and flirt with the waitress. "

You made it TO Irma's, right? Note word 12 in the original goal. It counts... as long as you got the flirting part in.

You rode to Irma's, right? You had your pie, right? You flirted with the waitress, right? IT COUNTS. And about the waitress. Gentlemen do not give sordid details.

After a few hours of looking around, I came across this thread and got a huge smile. I lived in Argyle for 10 years and went to Irma's every weekend ( almost ) with my dad. I can't imagine ridding there from Monroe in the winter ( did you take Hwy. 81? ) Im in Monroe now but went to Irma's a few months ago, still great food.

As for you guys asking about the waitress, If 'Becca was there im sure he was flirting lol, went to school with her.

Don't forget to be glad you're posting a "Ruling Needed" thread and not a "Cast Needed" thread.

You went for PIE and did not let the weather stop you from getting it.

No ruling needed.

A definite YES.
