Benidorm has some nice riding
My soon to be 77 year old mother invited me down to visit her winter quarters. Had a a great week riding the beautiful region up from Benidorm. ( She stays every winter in Albir) Great lady, hope to have her calves when I,m 77. Got to try my new Break-away. Had a bad wheelset but aside from that, great bike.

It looks like a gorgeous place to ride. Too bad there's so much traffic. Gee, cars everywhere. And clearly, (as Dave Letterman would say), Mom's still gettin' it done.

Something about Spain cannot be anywhere else in Europe. Just a pity its Benidorm. Not my favourite part of Europe- but that was when I was younger. And looking at the traffic- seems bike friendly nowadays.

I think I would have needed at least 1 water bottle in that sun and after tackling those hills.

My english is sometimes very much a second language, so the American I told I had emptied my bladder at the bottom of the climb wondered if I had peed to get lighter. What I meant was that I had nothing left in my Camelbak.
