patentcad, WE LOVE YOU!

I just wanted you to know that, despite the good-natured ribbing we have around here, that we love you and accept you for who you are - a true 50+'r.

We welcome you as a full-fledged participant in the 50+ forum.

We look forward to your insights on successful bicycling as one ages.

PS. Patentcad is into self-loathing. We're just trying to make him feel welcome.

It's a roadie thing. You wouldn't understand.

Pcad cannot be accepted onto this forum for a while. He has yet to do a ride where he has suffered back pain- or butt pain -or any sort of pain and then asked the rest of the 50+ers as to how to overcome it. He has yet to let us know of his training programme for his Century ride that will occur at the end of this year. And more to the point- He hasn't done a PIE ride.

I've always been too fat for this sport. Now I'm too old for this sport.

God this sucks.

But isn't it comforting to know that a bunch of fat, old, doddering people who can't find their butt with two hands love you?

Pcad,

While I'm not yet in this age group...........I BELIEVE IN YOU, and I know you're really just a little cuddly kitten deep down and all that bravado and chest beating is just bluffing

If you ever get to Oz, we'll meet up and I'll show you how to ride properly.....

I'll tell ya what's creepy. You're on the hellbound train with the rest of us, and there's no gettin' off. Next thing you know you'll be up here in the 50+ Forum complaining about the price of your new dental bridge. Bwwhahahahha. And that'll be a good day.

My XY Zingers volunteer to sing. Perhaps some Polkas?

What refreshments?

Definitely Geritol punch.
