Some vacation pics
I spent a week at the Colorado River over the first week of August. Since my bike goes with me on vacation when ever I can get away with it, I tried to get in 25-35 miles on most mornings. The problem is it's 90°+ at 5:30am and it only gets hotter from there. So I was off at the crack of dawn every day but that's OK with me since I'm an early riser anyway. I took these two shots with my Blackberry so the quality isn't perfect but it gets the feeling across. The desert is very quiet and beautiful at dawn.
