Orbea Outlet

This weekend I disovered that they are going to open an Orbea Outlet store in Little Rock at the corner of Kavanaugh and Markham.

This store will sell bikes left over from last year's stock and bikes used by their racing team last year at a discount.

Yet another reason to come to Little Rock.

1 block from my university parking space is a large bike shop that sells used and closeout bikes from 4 stores. Orbea is one of the lines they carry. Not many high end Orbeas make it in there, but they had a lot of '07 low to mid-line bikes there this past summer.

They had a lot of Fuji Touring bikes too this year. In every size Fuji makes, selling them for $675.

Bikes: More than I really should own.

I think I may need to go visit some kinfolks in NLR.

Bikes: Cervelo Prodigy

Do these closeouts come from retailers or directly from manufacturers or both?

I went by the store a couple of days ago. They have not received any inventory yet. A good guy, Ian Hope, will be running the store.
These bikes will be Orbea only and they will be bikes that have been raced or were demonstration bikes at shows or some other reason of this type.
I already own a 2009 Orbea Onyx, which I really like, so I will not be in the hunt for a bike at this time. However, my wife asks me every few days if I think Ian has gotten an Orca Diva at the store yet in her size. I think Ian already has his first customer.
