No, no, no leg pullers here, just honest and earnest pace line pullers. Trustworthy as the day is long. So much so that in a spirit of typical fiscal prudence they have decided that dues should be held in a tax exempt account, like --well, like here in Bahrain. I'm proud to be trusted.

So, pm me your account details and pin numbers, and I'll ensure that you can post here without any further problem. Oh, and the rest of you, your dues are beginning to look a bit delinquent, so to avoid embarrassment I'd advise early settlement before late payment charges accrue.

Welcome, professor your Bobship

Welcome Professor - as I just joined this elite group last month, yours is the first welcome I have had the opportunity to extend. Also, I like knowing I am no longer the "kid" in the group.

Welcome to your fifties - it is an interesting transition (at least, it has been for me).

As to the pie - make mine pecan!

If you wait until you're 60, I believe there is "presumptive joining" isn't there? That is the route I have taken, anyway. And that way you don't have to wear the beanie cap and sing your HS fight song!

Billydonn, you gave me a good laugh! I needed it-just got news that a good friend lost his 11 year old son to complications from what they thought was the flu. Very sad story.

I am here to make life better for others, my friend. And I'm very sorry to hear that sad story... my condolences.

Welcome. Actually Bob, when you come into this group the tradition is that each of us sends YOU money. So be sure to post your banking information so we can make a direct deposit. Don't forget your PIN number. At least that's the way it worked for me. And thanks again you all for your wonderful generosity.

I see that the Professor is a brilliant man. I am going to have to try this for my 50th which is coming up in March.

It's all in the art of negotiation. If you want 10 ask for 100, settle for 25. The motorcycle I was looking at was $14K. I was thinking $1500 for a bike, my wife came up with $3K. I could have gone all the way but settled for something in between and now both of us are very happy!
