...and again today: Rode to work (and, barring catastrophic accident in the next 2 hours, will ride home from here as well). Three days in a row! That's probably the first time since early December that I've ridden three days in a row. Certainly will be the first >100 mile week in over two months.

Left before sunup to get a ride in before the rains and high winds come. Made the route as short as possible and made it with time to spare. The weather man is wrong again.

Finally got out today here in central MA and did one of my regular 25 mile rides with roads like in your picture. Tried out a new set of Crud RoadRacer II fenders which worked well so no skunk stripe! It was really very nice with temps in the mid 50s. This was the first time I was able to ride since Jan 1.

Played hooky from work because of the nice weather forecast, and did some riding on and off of Skyline Drive in Shenandoah NP:

https://connect.garmin.com/activity/68903191

I was trying to get as much climbing in as possible without going a really long distance. Ended up with 53 miles, 4800 feet of climbing, and that was plenty. The longest sustained climb was from about 600 feet to about 3300 feet, none of it mega steep.

Nice ride. I want to go back there this year. I want to do some climbing.
Do you ride on 29-211, it looks like you do for short distance. Seems a little scary on that road with the speed limit and speeds cars go.

...but today, no. National Weather Service has a Wind Advisory Warning for the area: 30 mph winds with gusts up to 50mph! Sounds like a freakin' hurricane outside.

Yes, finally. The rain let up for a few hours and we took our first ride (15 miles) since last weekend's Palm Springs Century. Taking my single out on a local group ride tomorrow, 55 miles and 3000' of climbing.

Yes I did. Awesome weather in Atlanta so I had to get out. Haven't ridden since Thursday.
Saw several large groups with matching jerseys and shorts. Team in Training or MS "training" rides?
Did 33 miles. Would have done more but the car and pedestrian traffic at Stone Mountain was awful.

First ride of the year today - 32 miles, temp at start was 22F, but no wind and sunny. It was 50F on Thursday - that's life in Wisconsin. But at least I got in my first February ride ever! December and January, not gonna happen.

Perfect day today. NealH and I rode from the Folk Art Center to Craggy Gardens and back on the BRP. The last 11.5 miles of the climb had new pavement and was closed to cars.

It was windy but sunny and warmish for a couple of hours, we put in 23 miles and were chased home by lite "RAIN", heavy clouds and meaner winds, managed to get the bikes in before the heavier RAIN started!

Yes. 45 miles today with a club ride. Sunny but cold at the start, right around the freezing point. Also, there was a pretty stiff headwind for the first half; NOAA said gusts to the upper 20s. Pace was slow but steady and when we hit the turn-around that tailwind made the ride home brisk. Overall average was 14mph and it was quite a workout chasing those faster. Legs are tired but nothing hurts. The bike was a champ.

Sunny and up to 50F today - got out on the new tandem for 11 miles. The two short rides we've had this month are a February tandem record for us. Captain and stoker agree that making the move to a 'bent tandem was the right thing to do.
Rode 16 miles on the V3 later in the afternoon. Hadn't ridden 27 miles on a single day since late Oct. or early Nov.

Rode 22 miles with 2500 feet of climbing. Got caught in a blizzard at the top. Snowed an inch in 5 minutes. Froze my ass off on the downhill. Guess Southern California finally got the weather the rest of the country has been getting all winter.

Oh ya, I forgot. It was my first ride in 94 days. Took a break, now I have to keep riding seeing how I started again.

About 1.75 hours - started at 6 am - before church. Temps in the 30's. Rode by the creek, using lights for about 45 minutes. Great fun. Off to church now.

Didn't make it out yesterday. Watched my Nebraska Cornhuskers upset Texas in basketball and after the game got ready to out. Rolled up the garage door, moved the bike outside, rolled the door down and the rain immediately started falling.

Went out this morning and the streets were just a bit damp which ultimately led to my "downfall". I was on my normal route where I go into a restaurant parking lot to turn around.

I was going a bit too fast on the damp asphalt and went down on my left knee, hip, and elbow. Bike is OK, got a small bit of road rash on the elbow and the knee is sore and stiff.

It was a perfect day for a ride. Upper 60s and slightly cloudy. There was some wind, but it wasn't too bad. 50.5 miles of country roads with a few miles of shake and bake, which the Roubaix handled with ease.
