Does anybody know if it's ok to fly with co2 cartidge in a suite case?

They are not usually shipped by air if you order them online. However, I've bought them off eBay, from places too far away to come in 3 days by ground mail and they come in an express mailer box.

I suppose you could check the banned items for airline baggage....some where online.

It's a conspiracy to keep bike shops in business because you can't fly with them and then you end up buying 3 for like $9 wherever you're going that you then have to leave behind.

Many will find this article about CO2 including flying with CO2 interesting. There are additional articles in Velo News about the technology and chemistry involved with CO2 and bike tires. For those just go to Veol News and enter CO2 into the search block.

No you can't fly in the US with them is the short answer though.....
