It's official now

Well, I've been surfing and occasionally posting on this thread for about three years now, but I have to confess that up until this week I didn't quite meet the qualifications But with my recent birthday I have now passed the half-century mark.

Now it's also traditional to ride your age on your birthday, and again, I have to admit that I actually did my long ride of the year a couple weeks ago (56 miles). Nevertheless, I feel that the accompanying picture is still appropriate. And I'd like to say that I really enjoy this forum.

Nick

BTW, the pies were for a family reunion that we just had in Estes Park, Colorado. And they were really good

Apple, wild berry, and peach/cherry. My wife tried to hide the peach/cherry so that she could have the whole pie, but no luck

How good were they? Well, my mom used to make a pretty tasty blackberry pie (with blackberries picked by the kids). Best pies I ever had, as far as I can trust my memory These pies were not better, since that would be sacrilege, but they were right up there.
