San Francisco to Santa Barbara on a tandem bike

RR and I just finished our ride from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. I did a full report on a word doc along with pictures and it turned out to be about 110 mbs. To big to post anywhere. So I started a blog and posted it there with all the pics.

https://justaguyonlifesjourney.blogspot.com/

I posted the whole trip in one blog. Maybe should have broken out into multiple days but it is what it is. Hope you read and enjoy.

Thanks for 15 minutes of pure, sweet, voyeuristic escape. Great ride and great write-up.

The coast ride is epic. We did it in 1981 from Monterey to Santa Monica and I remember it as if it were yesterday. Congrats.

Thanks for sharing a great ride report - I loved it all. Cambria is our favorite getaway when we need a quiet time to just relax, eat, and shop. Some of my family lived in Lompoc for a while, very nice country there. Big Sur was on our honeymoon route. And Hubby often talks about the great steak he had years ago in Guadalupe at the Far West Tavern. Your report stirred up lots of good memories of my own. I know how thrilling it was for us to complete our road trip to Colorado and back last month.... I can only imagine the thrill of a trip on a bike. Your report makes me want to go.
