They're still here after 3 hours or so - perhaps the list is just a decoy to keep us on our best behaviour

Wondered what this post was about but 7 members- 8 guests and 10 mods logged in right now. Perhaps the mods are getting older and looking to their future.
30 seconds later- 5 members- 3 guests and 10 mods.
Who's upset them so they have to keep an eye on us?

It's my understanding that the software has been changed so it shows all mods on all forums - they aren't all here. In fact none of them may be here.

I am intrigued. I've never looked to see who was "On" before. Is this something that many of you do?

I occasionally check to see who is on. When I'm on at around 1 am, I am frequently the only non-guest. There have been a number of times when only DG and I have been on.

Thanks for the putting out the welcome mat!
FYI - The Mods section at the bottom is not people who are actively online like the Active Users portion... It is the mods who are assigned, and we are the ones that will generally do any cleaning up in a forum if it is needed. Although the mods all cover each other as needed.
As far as the number of moderators for this forum, I don't recall the discussions, but I know I volunteered for this forum because it is an easy one. I need breaks from forums like SS/FG and Road Cycling.
