My first close encounter with one was when I was hiking on a narrow mountain trail while carrying my daughter in a backpack. The sheep started walking toward me and I really wasn't sure what its intentions were. Turned out that it viewed hikers as mobile salt licks and just wanted to get at my knees.

Don't know if it is a farm one or wild- but we have plenty of Sheep over here. All farm animals and bred for meat. That looks like some form of rare breed so if it is tame enough- take it home. I can give you a good recipe for B-B-Qed mutton.
And this lettering on the reply section is minute. just glad I have my glasses on. And the site seems slow.

Nothing like a big ram to help you remember how big and strong we humans really are.

Somebody has to say it........It's hard to Dodge a Ram.
Refugee, I just checked the B.C. hunting regulations,he isn't legal to hunt. He's only a 3/4 curl and needs to be a full curl.

Nice photo TBM, I was in Kamloops this summer and saw about 75 of them on a golf course and new subdivision. I thought the many forest fires probably moved them off the hills. They semed really indifferent to my walking up and taking pictures as well.

The best camera is the one you have with you. I use an Olympus 1050 SW. This camera is small waterproof/dust proof/and shock resistant. I have a lanyard attached to the camera which I put around my neck. It fits in a shirt pocket. It also has a big LCD screen.

He was also about 50 feet from the boundary of a National Park.
I suspect he knew that.
Besides, I only had a camera.
I almost always ( walking, driving , riding) have a little Canon ELPH in my pocket.
