So far I've found the new forum software to work better with IE8 than Firefox. Everything I try with IE8 works, but some of the features don't work under Firefox. Haven't tried Safari or Chrome yet.

Is the button that lets you look for an image on your hard drive invisible in IE like it is in Firefox?

OK, what do I have to do to post a New Thread? So far I've failed the test.

The button is there but all it does is give me a fairly blank page with an ad in yellow w/black print and a link back to this forum.

Try tabbing over. Apparently the block is there......just way off the screen to the right somewhere.

This is what I see when I click the "post a new thread" button.

(info only, it works fine for me)

Yes!!!!!!!

In the Add files box on the Advanced page and the manage attachments- If you click on add files- a new box appears. At the bootom of that box and in the centre- there is a very faint box. Click on that and you can browse your hard disk.

I mentioned this on another posting and someone with supernatural powers or ESP told me where it was.

Okay - that works. I see now that in IE 8 the page is massively wide. I could actually scroll over to the entry area, but tabbing will get you there faster.
