So, what have I missed?

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but I haven't posted in a while. Stopped by tonight to see how the old forum is doing - looks like it's still alive and kicking.

Did I miss anything in my absence? Just give me the headlines (in haiku format, if you dare).

Thanks.

Hi DeeGee, I'm back for a while as well. The big headline is they took a vote and decided white bikes are right next to tubular tires in the Devil's heart.

In DG land, tubular may have a totally different meaning.

Well let's see. John Boy, Ma, and Pa had a great time riding in upstate NY. We all got a lesson on humility, respect, tolerance, and diversity from Grandma Esther. Grandpa Jeb went into town and ordered up new 50+ jerseys for those of us who wanted 'em. Jim Bob took a spanking because he doesn't want to wrench on his own bike. Dr. Willard told us how to deal with the heat and had suggestions on different ways to relieve the discomfort of riding some of us get. Mary Ellen, Ben, and Jason showed us pretty pictures of their trips. Flossie Brimmer, well she was just plain grumpy. Harley Foster had to leave town for a bit. He says he'll be back. Ike Godsey, Buck Vernon, and Horace Brimley all got fancy new wagons to hitch their horses to. J.D. Pickett would have nothing to do with that. So, he rebuilt his wagon. Looks mightly fine too. Flossie Brimmer baked a mighty fine blueberry pie, but most folks didn't get a chance to taste it. So, anyway. It's been pretty much like that. So, you fixing to hang around awhile, or are you just passing through?

I race on and glue my own tubular tires. Some threw the sand out of the sandbox as well as the toys and then their mothers showed up and took them home.

How long does it take you to sew those things up?

I have a seamstress professionally sew up my tires before I glue them on.

Bikes made from sewer pipe are better than CF bikes.

But only vitrified clay pipe. None of that concrete or plastic junk.

And you'd better work on your own bike or don't even bother posting here until your post count exceeds 5000. (I can sell you a routine that will run this up by randomly posting disparaging remarks about PCAD on the road forum - nobody notices)

Bikes: confidential infromation that I don't even share with my wife

Many of us have been falsely accused of doping by certain individuals who have unusually low average speed.

I don't know what you're talking about.

Well, it doesn't look like much has changed. I just have a couple of quick questions:
  1. What kind of bike should I buy?
  2. Should I go clipless?
  3. What is N+1?
  4. Why is white the best color for a bike?
  5. Whatever happened to the Diegos?

Oh - and one more. Can someone link me to the 60+ forum? I'm going to be eligible this fall, and I want to know what kind of folks hang out there.

This how all worthwhile bicycle saddles are made.
