Well, the Sport Beans had better work, because I ordered a 24 case of extreme Cherry based on your recommendation. Due here on Monday.

Water only for rides less than 2 hours.
Over two hours, I like nuun tablets in a water bottle, pretty heavily diluted, for electrolytes. This year on longer rides (3 hours plus) I've been using Hammer Perpetuem; like noted above I find it's a really good replacement for "real food" and I finish rides not hungry, energetic, and not over-full. |
I fill my bottle with fruit juice, about a quarter of the way up, then I top it up with water.

I have two bottles. One with water that has Elite added and the other has Gatoraid, (red fruit punch).
I also eat a protein bar after any 25+ mile ride, longer rides I eat one during and after the ride. |
