60 mph?
I should hit at least 60 mph tomorrow. Hurricane Isaac should be hitting Lafayette tomorrow morning. Then again, I might not be able to pedal back until Thursday.

We just had a feeder band go through Pensacola, generated a tornado south of our home, dumping a whole lot of rain already. Flooding along the coast has started here, too. New Orleans is getting a really strong band right now, 1825, watched it hit the Weather Channel crew as they were reporting. First day I didn't get to ride since 13 July 2012, sucks big time but I refuse to do a duathalon in front of my house.
Finished all preparations Sunday morning, just going to work and watching the rain bands pass through now. I did ride yesterday and hit 20 mph on the south legs without pedaling.

Tomorrow night through Thursday will be 'it' for us here in central Louisiana, apparently. It should be diminished somewhat by then, hopefully. There's about as much "storm" going on inside the building at work as I anticipate outside. Lots of activity in preparing and reacting to Isaac.

Good Luck to all in NOLA and the surrounding area who are currently staring down Issac. With our current dysfunctional congress I am guessing that there won't be much in the way of federal emergency aid except for the funds that FEMA already has.
