Curtis,

Any pic's of the bibs?
Should i order the jacket one size larger then my jersey?

cccorlew 10-13-10 11:17 PM

I wear a medium jersey. These aren't as loose as most ride jerseys, but are a lot more roomy that Castelli. I have a medium jacket that I wish was tighter, and a vest that I think is just right.

Here's the shorts/bib design, and a photo of my in my bibs.

I bought an XL jersey last round so that's what i will order for the jacket to be safe.

All: I have a short sleeved men's club cut jersey in Large that I am willing to sell for $50 (shipping within the US included). It is brand new (received earlier this year) and has never been worn (except to be tried on). I found it a little too tight on me and will be ordering one size up. If interested, PM me.

Who makes the jerseys and bibs?

I already placed my order for a women's jersey size small. Hope I didn't order too soon without asking more about sizing. What size is your wife wearing in the pic above? (She looks terrific btw!)
Thought a med. would be too big. Any advice on women's sizes? Also, how many rear pockets on women's version? Thank you.

cccorlew 10-14-10 10:26 AM

MyLilPony wears a small. I'm not going to ask her her weight, but as near as I can tell it's just right.
Three pockets in the rear.

Order sent.

Is there some other way to pay besides Paypal? I won't go into my issues with them, but I won't use it.

+1

I don't use paypal or scam bay.

I sure wish there was another way to pay.

cccorlew 10-14-10 11:35 AM

I'm sorry you've had issues with PayPal.

I've bought a lot, and also used it to collect money for lots and lots of jerseys without any problems, but I know some folks haven't had the same experience.

Maybe you can find someone with an account who will send money for you.

This is headache enough without me trying to deal with checks, and the potential problems they could create for me. Really, it's PayPal that makes this effort feasible.

How much extra for shipping to the frozen tundra aka Canada?

Curtis, maybe the anti-PP folks (in the US, at least) can send you a USPS money order? How do you feel about that?

cccorlew 10-14-10 12:57 PM

Canada. I can't remember exactly how much more that was. I think it was slightly more than twice as much. I do remember I have to fill out customs papers. I hate customs papers.
So, let me make a guess and decision.
Add 7 bucks for Canada.

Here's my deal. PayPal goes into my account, and the info into my database with very little work. If I take paper, I have to write or copy data, keep paper records, and go to the bank. I never go to the bank. It's not close, and I do everything online.
Most of all, the potential for me screwing up something goes through the roof if I don't keep my system as simple as possible. And I don't want that.

That's why I'm doing the paypal thing.

Nice work again Curtis...Does the vest have pockets?

retnav94 10-14-10 07:06 PM

Ok I would like to make an announcement...I am one FAT man. I mean I knew this already but it was reinforced when I bought a Motobecane jersey from BD. I ordered a 3x, it came today. I had to chuckle when I put it on. I resembled a Kielbasa, and not a pretty one at that. I have stated before I have dropped 65ish lbs since may and am working on the other 65 to eventually get to around 180. I really liked the work Curtis did on the jersey and it is another intensive to keep pedaling and get the weight off. I am wearing it regardless of the fit when it gets here, just not sure if I will wear it outside of the bathroom. Thanks for the effort here Curtis.

cccorlew,

Could you provide more information about the wind jacket? I can never find Waldo and I could not locate the sizing information. From the one picture it looks like the jersey is thicker material than the wind vest (I have one). That would be great.

Thanks

Rob

No pockets on the vest. I sure wish it did.

Rob

The wind vest and jacket are both windbreaker type material. I find the vest fits me well, and the jacket is a bit loose. Not bad, or unwearable, just loose. But that's me. It seems more like a street cut than a snug cycling cut.
