I hate to ask.... but, since the order isn't sent yet... where is the size chart for the jacket? The jacket might be a nice Christmas gift for Hubby.

I wear a medium jersey. These aren't as loose as most ride jerseys, but are a lot more roomy that Castelli. I have a medium jacket that I wish was tighter, and a vest that I think is just right.

Here's the shorts/bib design, and a photo of my in my bibs.

I love the shoes your wife is wearing. Are those cycling Mary Janes? Or just cute shoes she likes to wear on the bike?

On the bike she wears Sidi. This is after her first and only hill climb time trial and she's slipped them on afterward to walk around in.
But she is indeed pretty darn cute in them, and she does wear sometimes them on her commute bike when she rides to school. But they aren't cycling specific or anything.

They are cute. One of the women in our group wore a pair like those, so I thought they might be a new style of women's cycling shoes.

Curtis,

I had sent in the order for the 2 jerseys (1 small and 1 large) did not mention Short Sleeve.

Thank you

cccorlew 10-30-10 10:11 AM

OK! I've the last couple of "please let me order late" entries in. I'll be sending the order to the manufacturer later today (Saturday, 10.30.2010). Then we'll all just wait. And wait. Then wait some more.

chasmm 10-30-10 12:04 PM

Hey Curtis?

Again, just wanted to say "thanks" for arranging this order.

Also, will the jerseys be here in two weeks?

Just kidding!!!!

cccorlew 10-30-10 12:43 PM

You can trust me. I would never run off with all the money. Your jerseys are just moments away from arriving. Really. I'm would not lie to you. Honest.

Looks like our money was well spent, Curtis.

tandemnh 11-07-10 04:33 PM

So when you were riding in France, did you have to ride the bike backwards since there isn't a rignt hand drive side?

We can always count on Rick to make us 50+ers proud. :thumb::D

While you are in the Bahamas cccorlew:innocent:

It would be interesting to know how many of the jerseys you have sold since you started.

And for Tandemnh-- The 50mph is achievable but only just on a solo but with ease on Tandems- but it does take a steep hill without too many lumps in it.

Think you have an unfair advantage.

cccorlew 11-09-10 10:52 AM

I think I've placed between 200 and 250. I know they are all over the states, and some in Canada, New Zealand and Great Britain.

cccorlew 11-09-10 12:49 PM

They charger my card today. That must mean something is happening.
Though I'm not sure how I'm paying for our impromptu trip now.

Well, if I get an e-mail from you saying that you're stuck in London and the hotel won't let you leave until you settle your bill, I'll be sure to send the $1500 you ask for...

Don't do that. Yikes.
A relative of ours got badly scammed in "Grandma, I'm in trouble."

I've done the 50+ on both a single and tandem... you gotta love speed and pray the wife doesn't look over your shoulder to see how fast you are going.

tandemnh 11-11-10 08:11 PM

By the way Curtis, what does the back of the jersey look like? Same as the front?

The thing about going 50+ is it takes DAYS to get the smile off your face.
