Posting pics from a Flickr account...
I've been inspired to post pics from a flickr account, but it doesn't seem to be working. I keep seeing the little blue "?" when I preview the post. Any pointers?

That worked. I clicked on the thumbnail, then Share This, then selected Grab the HTML/BB code and selected BB. Then copied that code and pasted it into the post.
copy and paste only the img info unless you want folks to be able to click on the photo and go to your flickr home

They eliminated the easy way of linking images from Flickr. You can still do it, but it is a PITA compared to the ease of doing it with Photobucket. Not sure why they don't want us posting images from there, but apparently they don't. I liked Flickr, but I'm thinking of moving my albums to a different site that encourages the way I want to use my photos.

Well, let's see.

Well OK. Seemed to do the trick. Thanks, JanMM. As to why they may not want us posting from Flickr, one of the most popular photo sharing sites on the web, perhaps an admin could reply?

Thanks for prodding me to figure out how to do it.
Photobucket is easier, that's for sure.

I don't know why a Flickr admin would post a reply to this thread. It is Flickr that seems to be trying to stop the direct posting, not BF.

When posting from Flickr, you are supposed to give a link back to the flickr image per your Flickr agreement:
Do link back to Flickr when you post your Flickr content elsewhere.
The Flickr service makes it possible to post content hosted on Flickr to outside web sites. However, pages on other web sites that display content hosted on flickr.com must provide a link from each photo or video back to its page on Flickr.
They do want you to post images from Flickr to elsewhere, like here on the forums, but they also want the traffic back to Flickr. It was great when they added the BBcode option to the 'share this' list.

After all this time, I finally figured out how they mean for you to do this.
I had not noticed the "BB code" button option and posting the default HTML didn't work here and I was having to just copy the img code part of the code, a PITA. It is actually pretty convenient now that I know how it works. Just click "Share this" then "Grab the HTML/BB Code" then select "BB Code" and choose a size. Copy the code and post it.
Even an old Dawg can learn new tricks.

That looks nasty, Bluesdawg!
So, what's this Tabor Hill everyone is talking about? Is it the local killer hill, the one that is so steep and long that only the heartiest of souls, or those with granny gears, can climb it?

Mt. Tabor is the most challenging climb on the Hilly Hundred in Southern Indiana. I must confess to walking our tandem up the hill this year.

I've got flickr and photobucket accounts and have been using photobucket for online for however long flickr had made it so hard. I'll try a test of flickr below.
How about that, it works. This is Vbulletin, right, the code doesn't seem to work on some of the versions.
