Given the few flats I've had in the past 15 years, I'll stick with what I've been using.

Can't see any Pros to adding weight to the wheels.

Had a mate that used this in his tyres on his daily commute but one day came in with a flat tyre. The stuff he had in his tubes had worked as they were 8 places where the gunge in his tubes had stuck the tube to the tyre. Cost him a new tyre and tube.

I may be lucky in that I don't get many flats and can't see a reason to use any of the many flat preventatives that are available.

I"ve gone for over 20,000 miles without a flat. Exactly how would these things benefit me?

I don't have a lot of flats either, but I sympathesize with people who live in goat-head country.

Options would be:

- super-thick tires
- super-thick tubes (such as the product linked to above)
- Slime
- tire liners

IMHO, all are best avoided and have significant downsides unless you are having a lot of flats.

No Mor Flats is not a new to the market product. I still have two of the airless inserts hanging out in my garage.

I had tried them several years ago in some 'Home-made' studded tires. They were a major PIA. The biggest issue I had was they tended to roll off the side of the rear rim as I was riding. I did get through a few winters with one in the front wheel though.

I personally don't recommend them.

God, those things are awful! I installed some 30 years ago in NYC. The spoke heads didn't have air pressure on them any more, so the spokes loosened up, and the wheels self-destructed. Also, the ride is awful. The customers were desperate to be free of flats, but this is a bad approach.

The original US supplier based in Ohio went out of business a couple of years ago.

Rode at least three straight years late 70's and early 80's using No-Mors with no problems and no flats.

I am not telling you all to buy them. I started using them again recently and am very happy with the results.
