I skimmed a few replies and the original post.. which I see the humor in. And well understand the remarks from many that are just tired and fed up with our lack of quality DEMOCRACY.

Tea "Party".. that is just what is it.. well meaning people who don't know anything about anything.. clueless really. It's a section on the far side of reality geared to keep that block voting for the idiot agenda. IE.. "tax cuts" (is just one) that are NOT funded... debt now is the pee post. Their 30 yrs too late.. that old goat the 'quipper' started this nonsense. But.. I digress..........

This political landscape is a cystral clear reflection of what our future isn't going to be.

Me too - except when the Saints are playing!

Edit: ANY sport is more popular when the locals feel they have a stake in it. How many local cycling teams are there in the U.S. compared to local baseball, football, basketball, hockey teams, etc? How many U.S. schools have cycling teams?

The Nazis truly believed that everyone they killed were stupid, inferior, and with views not even worth considering. You, Sir, are a neofascist. Now run along and have a nice day.

OK, no one took the left-wing bait. What is so objectionable about your line of "reasoning" is that it is utterly dismissive of opposing points of view, even if you don't understand the opposition or if you don't understand your own views. Furthermore, Obama and Pelosi have laid bare their utter contempt for anybody who opposes them. When Obama discussed "punishing our enemies" and he was speaking of Republicans and not jihadists, it sent a shudder to anyone who is old enough to remember Nixon's enemy list. To call the current administration "Nixonian" is unfair to Nixon, because at least Nixon had some legitimate accomplishments during his tenure.

The concept of "unfunded tax cuts" is laughable and misses the point of the Tea Party objections. Cut spending and reduce the size of government. Allow people the liberty of funding things as they see fit, and not bailing out public employee union pension funds, corrupt financial institutions and the like. And I won't even bring up the Laffer curve, as it is dismissed promptly on ideological grounds by all left-wingers.

Come On folks. Dancing With the Stars is entertainment we pay for with our time. The producers have treated this year no differently than any other year. I started this thread as a bit of humorous diversion from daily life. The thread was never intended to be a vent for those who can't contain their political emotions.

Now it has deviated too far from humor.
