My EYES, My EYES!! No way, I have a hard time wearing the "multi-colored" local club jersey! I mean, I can just sense the "pain" folks would have to indure to see "ME" in those tights!

When I started riding in 1990- it was spring and I went all summer with all my mates riding with bare legs. Then winter came and one of the mates turned up one morning wearing a pair of tights similar to these.

It was 1990 and I found out I was riding with a colour blind rider. Made me realise that sensible clothing does not come out of the sales bin. But he had not bought them from the sales bin- He had actually ordered them from the LBS as his choice.

Yes, but then would they fixate on you and crash into you?! =:O

So if you're color blind, wouldn't you still see the rather "interesting" pattern on the material?.....

Don't think I will be ordering any of those anytime soon. Solid black looks really good right now.

In the eighties many bike messengers in DC wore shorts, tights and helmet covers (remember lycra helmet covers?) in wild colors/patterns from N.A.C. (not a courier), who was the girlfriend of one of the messengers, Jim Rapp. Jim's story was the cover story of Washington's City Paper, an interesting read https://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/a.../12295/jackpot

My old NAC shorts which I still wear, but under black baggy MTB shorts now.
