Looks like I may have lost that bet. With 400 paid ticket holders being denied seating, there are bound to be some lawyers making the big bucks instead of Jerry.

Hopefully Wobbly will come in and explain the "Unwritten" rules- but Cricket is a very fair game with no underhanded dealings and no Cheating (Unless you play for a certain Country where they go all out to thrash the Brits at their own game by any Means possible)

So as Cricket is a Very "Fair" game- Anything that is not- is "Not Cricket"
That explains why Cricket is not played in the USA. In facts, "cheating" of sorts is enshrined in Baseball. One can "steal" bases. It seems that here in the USA if there is not a bit of "cheating" tolerated in a game, US fans lose interest.

I normally don't condone violence. But considering that this game is based on violence, I agree.

That type of cheating beats grabbing a handful of the other guys shorts and pulling on them.

I ran across a Lions fan here in Michigan who is pleased as punch that the Packers won, because the Lions beat them in the season. To him it means...oh well the worst case of "shoulda, coulda, woulda" that I have ever seen.

I bicycled to the stadium to get a tour. There was no game scheduled that day.
